CHICAGO – Loyola University Chicago track heads to the 2026 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend (May 2-3) at George Mason Stadium. The action will stream live on ESPN+.
The Ramblers enter championship weekend following strong performances at the Bryan Clay Invitational and will look to contend for podium finishes in the 800m, 1,500m, 3,000m steeplechase, 5,000m, 10,000m and 4x800m relay.
Loyola's pursuit of conference titles begins Saturday with 1,500m and 800m preliminary races at 1:30 p.m. CT and 3:45 p.m., respectively. The 3,000m steeplechase final is set for 5:25 p.m., followed by the 10,000m final at 6:15 p.m.
Competition resumes Sunday with the 1,500m final at 10:20 a.m. The 800m final follows at 11:40 a.m., ahead of the 5,000m final at 12:25 p.m. The meet concludes with the 4x800m relay final at 1:10 p.m.
Following the conference championships, Loyola will turn its attention to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field West Preliminary. The top 48 declared individuals and top 24 relay teams in each event in the West region, based on season-best marks, qualify for the preliminary round. The top 12 finishers in each event advance to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
At last year's A-10 outdoor championships, the Ramblers captured three titles: Roisin Treacy won the the 3,000m steeplechase title while Emma Watcke and James Lawrence claimed the 5,000m crowns.
