CHICAGO - Loyola University Chicago students as well as incoming freshmen are invited to try out for the Ramblers' cheer or dance teams when the Loyola Spirit programs hold open tryouts on April 14. Tryouts will take place in Gentile Arena with check-in for the dance team beginning at 8 a.m., while registration for cheer tryouts opens at 9:15 a.m.

The Loyola Spirit teams' foremost purpose is to support Loyola Athletics, enhancing game excitement and crowd involvement. The teams perform at all men's and women's home basketball games and at all tournament play.
