CHICAGO – Paige Gutierrez, a senior marketing major with a minor in visual communications, was recognized as a 2025 PNC Achiever during the March 27 Loyola Chicago men's volleyball match against Lindenwood.
 
Gutierrez joins other PNC Achievers who, since 2017, have been acknowledged for their notable efforts in academic achievement, community service or student leadership. 
 
"PNC recognizes, celebrates and showcases students who excel academically, contribute through community service and are engaged leaders on campus.  We congratulate Paige on her recognition as a 2025 PNC Achiever and look forward to her continued accomplishments and leadership as she continues her journey," said Scott Swanson, PNC regional president for Illinois and territory executive for the Midwest region.
 
Gutierrez has maintained a 3.7 GPA while actively participating in the Quinlan Business Honors Program.
 
Beyond the classroom, she has demonstrated outstanding leadership as Co-President of the Quinlan Ambassadors, connecting prospective and current students with co-curricular experiences. She was also selected for the Quinlan Ramble to New York City, an exclusive opportunity that broadens students' professional horizons.
 
Gutierrez's commitment to service, leadership, and academic excellence is evident through her involvement in numerous student organizations, including Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity, American Marketing Association, and Student Government of Loyola Chicago, among others.
 
The senior business major has held several internships and taken advantage of opportunities, including in Loyola Dining, helping with a mobile app to serve people living with dementia. Her ability to balance rigorous academics with extensive extracurricular involvement and leadership makes her a standout student, embodying the spirit of the PNC Student Achiever Award.
 
Every academic year, a handful of students are selected by the school's staff and recognized during a Loyola Athletics event. The special ceremony provides an opportunity to highlight PNC Bank's dedicated support for Loyola University Chicago.
