ORLANDO, Fla. — The Loyola Chicago women's golf team finished in second place at the 2026 Atlantic 10 Women's Golf Championship to bring their 2025-26 season to a close. The Ramblers ended with two players in the top 10, and sophomore
Grace Hui finished as the individual runner-up.
Loyola improved their team score every round to finish the tournament with a final score of 79-over-par (+34, +25, +20). Richmond defended their team title with a final score of 51-over-par, while Richmond's Maya Beasley claimed the individual title with a score of five-over-par.
"I'm incredibly proud of how we competed for every shot today. We've struggled with the wind all season, and the third round has consistently been a challenge for us," said head coach
Brandy Johnston. "Today we put it all together, we recovered from bad holes when we needed to, and we handled the challenging conditions well all week. It's nice to finish the season on a high note."
Loyola's second-place finish was the team's best of the season, and is their best finish at an event since the 2023 Dolores Black Falcon Invitational.
The Ramblers were led by
Grace Hui, who finished the event in second place with a score of +10 (+4, +3, +3). Hui's runner-up finish was her career-best and was her third career top 10. In addition, this is the second straight year that Hui has finished the Atlantic 10 Women's Golf Championship in the top 10.
"
Grace Hui's play was outstanding this week. Her short game has always been her strength and that was on display in every round," continued Johnston. "This was her most complete performance as a Rambler, and I'm so excited to see what she can accomplish over the next two years."
Junior
Cassie Psuik was able to record her fourth top-10 finish of the year thanks to her round three performance of two-over-par, which was the Rambler's best individual round of the week. Psuik ended in a tie for ninth place with a score of +23 (+13, +8, +2). Psuik also led the team for the week with six birdies.
Another highlight of the tournament for Loyola was the play of freshmen
Teagan Connors and
Maureen O'Leary, who both recorded career-best finishes. Connors finished with a score of +25 (+8, +11, +6) to land her in a tie for 12th place. O'Leary ended up in 15th place with a score of +27 (+12, +6, +9). O'Leary also recorded four birdies in this event, which is a new career-high.
Finally, sophomore
Madison Haugen finished with a score of +33 (+10, +8, +15) to land her in 18th place.
