In her 12th year at Loyola, Ramiza Vulic has been a part of the Ramblers' athletic department since January, 2014 and serves as the department's Director for Finance and Business Operations as well as Senior Woman Administrator.
Vulic came to Loyola in December, 2005 as a Senior Financial Analyst in the University Financial Planning and Budgeting Department before earning a promotion to Associate Director of Financial Planning and Budgeting in 2008. She served in that role for five years before becoming athletics first Acting Chief Financial Officer in January of 2014 and an employee of the department in November of that same year, moving into her current position.
In addition to her responsibilities within the athletic department, Vulic has been an adjunct accounting instructor for four years.
Vulic is an accomplished financial professional/educator with proven accounting, budget, and administrative management skills in higher education, non-for-profit entities and corporate environment. She has over 16 years of experience in supporting business operations and decision making by providing comprehensive financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis to senior management. Her background includes a proven track record of distinguished performance as a financial manager and educator. She has successfully implemented financial strategic plans, process improvements, internal controls, systems and policies & procedures.
Prior to her employment with Loyola University Chicago, Vulic was a Corporate Assistant Controller of Finance at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois where she managed all aspects of budget and financial statement preparation and delivery to senior management. She was also a Corporate Senior Staff Accountant for Alden Management Services where she directed the financial reporting process and prepared monthly, quarterly and annual corporate financial reporting package for senior management.
A 1998 graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, Vulic has earned two Masters degrees with honors, MSA in accounting (2008) and MBA in management (2010) from Loyola's Quinlan School of Business.
