Brad Baker was hired as Assistant Athletic Director – Facilities, Game Operations & Equipment Services with Loyola Athletics in the spring of 2023. Baker joins the Rambler family following his second stint at Bryant University.
At Bryant, Baker served as the assistant athletic director for operations beginning in 2022. In this role, he oversaw game day operations for 25 varsity programs and managed over 70 student workers that assisted with home events. In addition to operations responsibilities, Baker handled the ticketing efforts for all athletic events on campus, and he helped coordinate the department's end of year banquet, individual team banquets, and team senior day receptions. Baker was also the main liaison with campus, external vendors, housing & dining, and club sports.
Baker's first stint at Bryant was during 2017-18 when he served as the director of football operations & pro liaison. Baker handled travel plans for an 89-man travel roster and coaching staff, and he launched a new alumni network via constant contact, which encouraged alumni to serve as mentors to current football student-athletes. Baker also worked hand-in-hand with department administration as the team's liaison.
Prior to his start at Bryant, Baker was at Iowa State for two years serving as a director of operations for olympic sports from 2019-21. He spearheaded the operations and logistics for women's soccer, women's swim & dive, women's tennis, and both golf programs. Baker helped improve their strategic planning, procurement, and operational efficiency.
He went to Iowa State following a brief stint at Brown from 2018-19 as the director of football operations. He designed and guided 44 on-campus recruiting visits and organized the annual award banquet and Junior Day, all while maintaining the daily operations of the program.
Baker held a variety of seasonal roles with Princeton football, Chicago Bears, Iowa State football, and the Texas Legends over the years.
A graduate from Iowa State, Baker holds a bachelor's degree in liberal arts & sciences.
