CHICAGO – Loyola University Chicago head men's soccer coach Kevin Robson announced the additions of Riley Ferraro, Chimnosoh Okeke, and Braeden Wright to the Ramblers' 2026 roster.
Riley Ferraro | Winger | Vancouver, British Columbia/Penn State
Ferraro joins Loyola after spending his rookie season at Penn State and developing through the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy system. A versatile winger capable of playing on either side of the attack, Ferraro consistently competed above his age group and earned multiple honors throughout his youth career.
"Riley is a dynamic one-on-one attacker who can create separation from defenders with ease," Robson said. "His ability to beat opponents off the dribble allows him to change a game in an instant, and he will add an exciting dimension to our attack."
Among his accomplishments, Ferraro earned Vancouver Whitecaps U16 Player of the Year honors and Academy Starting XI recognition while training with the club's second team and receiving consideration from Canada's national team program.
Chimnosoh Okeke | Forward | Laval, Quebec/Michigan State
Okeke transfers to Loyola after beginning his collegiate career at Michigan State. A dynamic and athletic player, Okeke offers versatility across the attack and can contribute as a winger, wing-back, or striker.
"Chimnosoh was arguably one of the most dangerous attackers in the Big Ten last season," stated Robson. "His game-changing pace makes him a constant threat, and he will bring an immediate spark and new energy to our team."
Okeke appeared in 16 matches during his freshman season at Michigan State, making four starts while immediately contributing offensively for the Spartans. He scored his first collegiate goal against Ohio State on Sept. 19 and added an assist in the same contest, while also recording assists against Michigan and Penn State. Across 757 minutes of action, Okeke totaled 24 shots with 11 on target.
Prior to Michigan State, Okeke played for Club de Soccer RDP against CF L'International de Québec in League 2 while also gaining international experience with Varzim Club in Portugal and Díter Zafra Club in Spain. During his time with Varzim Club, he helped lead the program to a conference championship in Portugal's National League in 2022.
Braeden Wright | Midfielder/Defender | St. Petersburg, Florida/Massachusetts
A graduate transfer from Massachusetts, Wright joins Loyola with experience in both midfield and defensive roles.
"Braeden will provide tremendous leadership both on and off the field, while also bringing the versatility to contribute in multiple positions," said Robson. "Having been part of an Elite Eight team, he understands what it takes to compete and succeed at this level."
Through his four years at UMass, Wright saw action on the defensive line in 11 games.
Prior to his collegiate career, Wright starred at Shorecrest Preparatory School, where he served as a two-year captain and totaled 14 goals and 19 assists in 34 starts. He helped lead his program to a Florida Class 2A state championship and earned multiple individual honors, including Golden Boot and MVP recognition.
Wright also excelled in the classroom, earning Dean's List recognition for eight consecutive semesters, multiple Athletic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll selections, and induction into Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society.
