Norville Center for Intercollegiate Athletics
Officially opened on March 3, 2011, The Norville Center for Intercollegiate Athletics serves as the home for Loyola Athletics. The three-story, 75,000-square-foot complex includes a student-athlete academic center, a sports medicine facility, modern and fully furnished locker rooms, fueling station, state-of-the-art strength and conditioning training area, a Loyola Athletics Wall of Fame, coaches and staff offices, and other amenities that have transformed the on-campus experience of all students and helped take Loyola Athletics to the next level.
The facility underwent renovations for branding and continued growth in 2024 to make it one of the sharpest looking facilities in Division 1.
None of this would have been possible without the generous support of Alfie and Allan Norville (BS '60, trustee). As a member of Loyola's Board of Trustees, and perhaps most importantly, a former star basketball player and die-hard Ramblers fan for over 50 years, Al Norville's commitment to Loyola--and especially to our student-athletes--has had a transformative effect on all our students. It is fitting that this exciting center bears the Norville name.
