Credentials

Credentials must be requested no later than 24 hours before an event with the athletic communications contact via email. Text messages will not be accepted. Any request made within 24 hours may not be approved.

Credentials are reserved for working media. You must be an individual who is a paid employee for a recognized outlet who provides information on Loyola Athletics through a newspaper, magazine, website, radio, television network, or other medium of mass communication.

Approval for one event does not guarantee a credential for another event. Loyola Athletics has the right to remove your access at any time.

NBA Scouts - please email Kayla Peterson. You will receive a credential and the best available ticket for the game at the time of your request. If you have a seat preference that falls outside of what we have available, you will need to purchase your own ticket. Media seating is limited, and scouts will not be seated here. Scouts will be on the parking list for the Main Parking Structure (1110 W Sheridan Road). Please note, sellouts may affect how many seats we have available, and late requests may result in the Scout needing to purchase a ticket via a resale site.

Post Game Interviews

Head coaches will be available after home games for comment in the third floor media room located in the Norville Athletics Center or on field for soccer and softball. Athlete availability can be requested through the athletic communications contact. An athlete will always be available after a win.

Photography

Photographers must request credentials as working media through the athletic communications contact. You must be a paid employee for a recognized outlet who provides information on Loyola Athletics through a newspaper, magazine, website, radio, television network, or other medium of mass communication. Freelancers working on their portfolio will not be granted access unless hired by the home or visiting teams.

Gentile Arena: You will have a labeled spot on the baseline (basketball) or sideline (volleyball). Please remain off court during play. Locker room access is up to home and visiting teams. Work with the athletic communications contact for access.

Hoyne Field: Avoid the field of play. Work with athletic communications contact for bench access.

Non-Game Day Requests

Coaches and players can be made available on non-game days for feature type stories. Please work with the athletic communications contact to organize. Coaches and players will not answer direct communication, and your access may be revoked if you do not follow protocol.

Men’s basketball will have regular media availability in-season. Coach and two athletes will speak, and practice will remain open for 30 minutes for stations to collect b-roll. Kayla Peterson will work with you directly to make sure access aligns with your schedules.

Interviews with athletic administrators and support staff should also be organized through Kayla Peterson.
