CHICAGO - David Bailey, a former standout at Loyola University Chicago, posted 16 total points in a pair of games for the Chicago Bulls at the Vegas Summer League in Las Vegas over the weekend. The 5-foot-8 guard notched seven points, three assists and a pair of steals in an 89-85 loss to the Orlando Magic on July 8, then tallied nine points in only 12 minutes of play in a 72-71 victory over the Sacramento Kings yesterday.
In the two contests over the weekend, the two-time First Team All-Horizon League selection shot 60 percent (6 for 10) from the field. The Bulls wrap up the Vegas Summer League slate this week with games versus the Denver Nuggets on July 12 and the New York Knicks on July 13.
Bailey finished his career ranked third on the Loyola career scoring list with 1,933 points.
