CHICAGO - Loyola University Chicago basketball fans are invited to join men's coach Porter Moser, new women's coach Sheryl Swoopes, and Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. M. Grace Calhoun for the annual basketball postseason banquet, which will be held in the Sr. Jean Dolores Schmidt Room in the Damen Student Center on the Loyola Lake Shore Campus on May 2. Cocktails (cash bar) will be available at 6 p.m., with dinner to be served at 7 p.m.

Moser, Swoopes, and Calhoun will all address the crowd as part of the evening's program. Under Moser's direction, the Loyola men's basketball team recorded 15 wins, an eight-game improvement from a year ago, and posted two wins over BCS conference opponents in 2012-13. Swoopes, one of the all-time great women's basketball players, takes the reins of a women's team that notched 17 wins, its most since 1988-89, and reached the title game of the Horizon League Championship.

Calhoun helped engineer Loyola's move to the Missouri Valley Conference, which takes effect July 1.

Tickets for the banquet are $35 for Rambler Varsity Club members and $45 for non-members.
