Â
White, who was running unattached, cruised to a victory this afternoon in his home state. The Wooster, Ohio product posted a time of 4:03.09, the fourth fastest time in the event in school history, to defeat his next closest finisher, Nick Wolf of Pittsburgh, by nearly three seconds.
Â
"To do what Kevin did in the mile today in his first indoor meet of the year and first race in three months is beyond special," Loyola assistant coach
Mircea Bogdan said. "The future for him is bright and, as a coach, I am thrilled to continue to help him achieve what we all know he is capable of."
Â
Loyola received a breakout showing from its 4x400m relay team of juniors

Â
"On the men's side, it was great to see a number of really solid marks in the 200m dash and then come back to run a really hot 4x400m relay," Loyola assistant coach
Jon DeGrave commented. "I especially thought Michael and Elijah excelled in the middle legs for us right in the thick of a really good field. Regan (Todhunter), Tyler (Elmore) and Octavian also had a really solid weekend and I think they are ready for breakouts at the conference meet in two weeks."

"I was really happy to see Denee' with a nice indoor personal best in the 200m dash, especially after her rough day yesterday," DeGrave continued. "It was also great to see Natajah with another solid weekend of multiple runs right near her personal bests. I think she's put herself in a really good position going into the conference meet."
