Former Rambler Tracy Robinson Signs Contract With Corinthians Paulista

Robinson will begin his 12th season of professional basketball this year

CHICAGO (July 8, 2019) – Tracy Robinson (Lynwood, Ill./Leo), who played at Loyola University Chicago from 2004-08, has signed a contract with Corinthians Paulista in Brazil for the 2019-20 season. The 6-foot-7 forward played for Club Deportivo Valdivia in 2018-19, helping the team win the Chilean Liga Nacional championship.
 
During the 2018-19 campaign, Robinson accounted for 15.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, shooting 42.8 percent (164-for-383) from the field, 35.6 percent (58-for-163) from three-point territory and 82.1 percent (92-for-112) from the free throw line for CD Valdivia. 
 
Since graduating from Loyola, Robinson has enjoyed a lengthy professional playing career with stops in Iraq, Argentina, Belgium, Finland, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay and Peru in addition to his stint in Chile. 
 
Robinson's best season at Loyola came as a senior in 2007-08 when he put up 9.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg and 1.8 apg.
