Justin Sukow Signs With Forward Madison FC

San Antonio, Texas native was a First Team All-MVC honoree with Ramblers in 2019

CHICAGO (April 22, 2021) – Former Loyola University Chicago men's soccer standout Justin Sukow (San Antonio, Texas/Ronald Regan/South Carolina) has inked a professional contract with Forward Madison FC of USL League One, it was announced by the club on Thursday.

Sukow, who spent the tail end of last season with Reno 1868 FC of the USL Championship, will be the second Rambler to play for Forward Madison FC, joining Brian Bement, who spent the 2019 campaign with the club.

After spending the first two seasons of his collegiate career at South Carolina, Sukow made the most of his time with the Maroon & Gold in 2019.  The San Antonio, Texas native started in all 20 games en route to finishing the year with nine goals, three of which were game-winning tallies, and five assists, finishing second on the Rambler roster in overall points (23).

Sukow, who is the 10th Rambler to move on to the professional ranks since head coach Neil Jones' arrival in Rogers Park back in 2013, was named a First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection and Third Team All-West Region honoree by the United Soccer Coaches following the 2019 season.

Founded in 2018, Forward Madison FC, an affiliate of Major League Soccer's (MLS) Chicago Fire FC, opens its 2021 season on Saturday, May 8 when it battles Tucson FC in Tucson, Ariz.
