TEL AVIV, Israel (July 13, 2022) – Current Loyola University Chicago Men's Volleyball player Justin Ross is competing at the Maccabiah Games in Israel, representing the United States. 
 
Every four years following the Olympics, the Maccabiah Games, also known as the "Jewish Olympics," takes place where teams from all over the world compete. This year, Ross, the middle blocker from Buffalo Grove, Illinois, is one of 10 athletes to represent the United States in the event. 
 
The team played its first competition today against Israel as they lost 3-0. The United States will also play Argentina and Brazil during round robin play. For more information and to follow along with the team, visit maccabiah.com.
