KINGSTON, Rhode Island (February 25, 2023) – The Loyola track & field team wrapped up action at the 2023 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track & Field Championships Sunday afternoon.

As a team, the Loyola men's squad finished 6
th overall with 64 points while the Rambler women's team placed 11
th with 25 points.

Four Ramblers earned points in the men's 3000m finals, with
Chris Devaney leading the way with a second-place showing (8:11.16).
Ryan Martins finished third with a time of 8:19.07,
Fionn Harrington placed fifth (8:19.96) and
Blake Buysse finished seventh with a time of 8:20.27. In total, Loyola picked up 20 points in the team standings in the 3000m event alone.

Grace Kuhn and
Nora Wollen finished back-to-back in the women's 3000m to pick up seven points for the Ramblers. Kuhn posted a personal-best time of 9:42.80 to place fifth overall while Wollen was close behind at 9:48.62 to cross the line in sixth.

Jason Clayton ran a personal-best time of 4:08.51 in the men's mile to finish second overall and earn eight points for the Ramblers while
Gabe Smit was less than a half second behind Clayton with a time of 4:08.99 to finish third.
Ruth Heery ran a PR time in the women's mile, crossing the line in 5:08.23 to finish second in her heat.

After qualifying for the finals of the women's 60m hurdles in seventh position,
Jayla Johnson ran a final time of 9.00 to place sixth overall and secure three points for Loyola.

Miguel Abaitua finished third overall in the men's 1000m run to add to six points to the Rambler tally.

The women's 4x800 relay team of
Kelly Andrews,
Fran Hendrickson,
Madi McLain and
Roisin Treacy ran the sixth-fastest time in program history to finish in eighth place while the men's quartet of
Cameron Arkesteyn, Smit, Clayton and Abaitua finished fourth overall with a time of 7:41.49,
