PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C.  (March 29, 2023) – After three days of action, the Loyola University Chicago men's golf team wrapped up play at the Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate with a fourteenth-place finish.

"It was a tightly packed leaderboard this week," said head coach
Erik Hoops. "We feel a lot better about how we played versus where we finished. Very easily could've been seven or eight sport higher on the board by cleaning up the little things. We feel we are still in a good spot leading up to the A10 Tournament."

The Ramblers finished the week with a combined score of 881 (291-293-297). Troy took a commanding twelve-stroke victory in the team category with an 840 (287-276-277) while Connecticut's Jared Nelson took home the individual title with a 207 (68-69-70).

Graduate student
Tyler Anderson was the Maroon & Gold's leading finisher, carding a one-under-par 71 in his final round to place in a share of 13
th with a 214 (74-69-71). Senior
Timmy Crawford finished three strokes behind him, placing in 22
nd with a 217 (70-71-76). Freshman
Charlie Kulwin finished his week with a 223 (T-47; 70-77-76) while senior
Zach Walsh ended play with a 230 (T-84; 77-76-77). Freshman
Dori Lee rounded it out for the Ramblers in 95
th, carding his low round of the week with a 74 to finish with a 236 (81-81-74).

"It was good to see a good week from Tyler," Hoops added. "I would love to have him go oit with a bang this last month. Timmy continues to do great things along with a good round from Charlie and a solid finish outside of a few bad swings. We're ready for a good chance at Purdue in a few weeks."

The Ramblers now travel to West Lafayette, Indiana to compete in the Boilermaker Invitational, April 15-16, for their final tune-up before the A10 Championship.
