ORLANDO, Fla. (April 28, 2023) – After an opening round of 289, the Loyola University Chicago men's golf team currently sits in third place after round one of the Atlantic 10 Championship.

Their 289 places the Ramblers just one shot behind VCU, who carded a 288, and five shots back of Davidson (284) who hold the team lead.

Freshman
Sebastian Kasun utilized four birdies across his round to tie his career low of 70. The Elm Grove, Wis. product currently sits in fourth place on the individual leaderboard, just two shots off the lead.Â

Charlie Kulwin, who fired an even-par 72 to place in a share of 11
th. Senior
Timmy Crawford is one shot back in 19
th place after carding a one-over-par 73 while graduate student
Tyler Anderson placed in 24
th with a 74. Senior
Zach Walsh rounds out the leaderboard for the Maroon & Gold, placing in 55
th with an 81.
