NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (April 3, 2023) - Andie Broniewicz was named the A-10 Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon. It marks the second weekly award of the season for Loyola and first for Broniewicz.

The Ramblers played five games over the last week with Broniewicz making two starts and picking up two wins. Her first win was a 2-0 shutout against Bradley. Broniewicz tossed her first career no-hitter, which is the eighth no-hitter in program history and second by Loyola this season. She retired five Braves in the process and only gave up two walks over the seven innings.

Broniewicz made her next start on the road at St. Bonaventure. She held the Bonnies to two hits and gave up only one run. The right-handed pitcher struck out a career-high seven batters and won her fourth straight in the circle for the Ramblers.
