CHICAGO -- The Loyola Chicago men's basketball family will be well represented across the world this season, as eight former Ramblers get set for 2023-24 professional season in their respective countries.
Lucas Williamson – Memphis Hustle/Edmonton Stingers
Williamson, one of the most accomplished players in program history, split his time a season ago with the Ontario Clippers of the NBA G League and the Edmonton Stingers in the Candadian Elite Basketball League. Williamson appared in 28 games for the Clippers last year, averaging 15 minutes per game. The winningest player in program history, Williamson scored a season-high 14 points for Ontario on Dec. 15 against the South Bay Lakers. This past summer, Williamson teamed up with former Rambler teammate Aher Uguak on the Edmonton Stingers in the CEBL, appearing in five games and scoring a season-best 11 points in an 87-81 victory over Winnipeg on August 4. Heading into the 2023-24 season, Williamson has signed on to the Memphis Grizzlies' G League affiliate, the Memphis Hustle.

Marques Townes – Crailsheim Merlins
Townes, who graduated from Loyola in 2019, spent the past season with Duna Aszfalt in the Hungarian-A Division. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged a team-best 18.4 points per game on 56.2% shooting from the field. Townes also averaged 5 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals for Duna Aszfalt while guiding the team to a 6
th-place finish and quarterfinal appearance in the A-Division playoffs. Following the season, Townes signed with Germany's Crailsheim. Crailsheim competes in the German easyCredit BBL, the highest level of professional basketball in Germany.

Cameron Krutwig – Real Betis
Krutwig, the former Loyola All-American, appeared in 12 games with Blackwater Elite of the Philippine Basketball Association to start the 2022-23 season, averaging 19.1 points and 16.3 rebounds per game. Krutwig changed teams right before New Years, finishing the season with the Ibaraki Robots of Japanese B1 League. Over the span of 37 games, Krutwig averaged 5.7 points and 5.3 rebounds while playing 16.2 minutes per game. Following the season, Krutwig signed with Real Betis Sevilla in Spain's second division.

Aher Uguak – Niners Chemnitz/Edmonton Stingers
Uguak split his time last season, competing in both the German easyCredit BBL and the Canadian Elite Basketball League. Uguak started the 2022-23 season with Niners Cehmnitz in Germany where he helped the team to a sixth-place finish a season ago. The 6-foot-7 native out of Alberta, Edmonton, averaged 7.6 points per game in the BBL, 6.4 points in Chemnitz's appearance in the FIBA Europe Cup and 4.7 points in a trio of games as part of the Basketball Champions League. Following the season, the two-time MVC All-Defensive Team pick immediately went home to Canada to compete with the Edmonton Singers of the CEBL. In 19 games, Uguak averaged 12 points and 4.1 rebounds per game alongside former Loyola teammate Lucas Williamson.

Ryan Schwieger – Rasta Vechta
Schwieger helped guide Germany's Rasta Vechta to a A-Division title last season and a promotion to the easyCredit BBL for the upcoming season. Schwieger ranked third on the team in scoring, averaging 14.2 points per game while finishing the year as a 63.1% shooter from the field. The 6-foot-6 guard scored 10 or more points in 30 of the 39 games he played in a year ago, including a season high 33 against Dusseldorf on April 15.

Milton Doyle – Tasmania JackJumpers
2017 graduate Milton Doyle split his 2022-23 season across two different leagues, starting the year with the Tasmania JackJumpers before ending the season with Tofas Bursa in Turkey's top league. Competing in Australia's top division, Doyle excelled to the tune of 17.2 points, 5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in 31 contests while averaging 30.1 minutes per contest. The Chicago native carried over the strong play to Turkey, dropping 12.6 points per game in 30 minutes per contest for Tofas.

Donte Ingram – Dinamo Stiinta Bucuresti
Ingram spent the 2022-23 year with Dinamo Stiinta Bucuresti in the Romania-Liga Nationala, the top league in Romania. Ingram played in 26 games during league action, averaging 31.2 minutes per game while scoring 10.3 points per contest and bringing in 4.4 rebounds per game. The Chicago native also appeared in a pair of Romania Cup games for his club, averaging 11 points and six rebounds a contest. Ingram had a pair of 20-point games last year, going 6-for-7 from the field against Oradea on Oct. 22 and then finishing with 20 points and seven rebounds against CSM Steaua Bucuresti on Jan. 21.

Jordan Hicks – Basket Esch
Hicks appeared in 23 games a season ago for Basket Esch of the Luxembourg LBBL, the top division of professional basketball in Luxembourg. The 6-foot-7 swingman averaged 16.9 points per contest while adding 5.5 rebounds per game. Hicks scored a season-high 31 points
