WASHINGTON – Loyola University Chicago senior Roisin Treacy has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Performer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Treacy earned the honor following a career-best performance at the Missouri Pre-National Invitational on Friday in Columbia, Mo. She led the Ramblers against a nationally competitive field, placing 29th overall with a personal-best time of 20:18.2 over the 6k course at Gans Creek Cross Country Course.

Her effort helped pace Loyola to a strong team showing as the Ramblers faced several of the nation's top programs in their final tune-up before the Atlantic 10 Championships. 

Treacy and the Ramblers return to action Nov. 1 for the Atlantic 10 Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
