Loyola Chicago Women’s Basketball Adds Australian Guard Jasmine “Jas” Perry to Roster

CHICAGO - Loyola University Chicago head women's basketball coach Allison Guth announced today the signing of Jasmine "Jas" Perry, a 5-foot-5 point guard from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, as the newest member of the Ramblers' 2025-26 roster.

"We're excited to welcome Jasmine and her parents all the way from Australia to Rambler Nation," said Guth. "She brings a true point-guard mentality that fits our style of play. You're going to see someone who gets to the rim, is crafty off ball screens, and understands where everyone is on the floor. She can create her own shot with very little space, knock down the three-point jumper, and push the pace in transition as we look to score within six seconds."

Perry joins Loyola from Kilbreda College, where she graduated in 2025. A dynamic floor leader known for her vision, pace, and competitive edge, Perry has built an impressive résumé across Australian youth basketball. She earned the Australian Olympic Change Maker Award and Kilbreda College's 2025 Sports Award, recognizing both her athletic performance and her commitment to leadership within her school community.

Academically, Perry completed the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) as part of her studies at Kilbreda College.

At the club level, Perry competes for the Sandringham Sabres under head coach Sally Burke. She helped lead the Sabres to a VJBL U18 State Championship, showcasing her ability to impact winning on high-level stages within one of Australia's most competitive junior basketball leagues.

Perry plans to major in sports management at Loyola and will arrive on campus with immediate eligibility this winter.
