CHICAGO - Loyola University Chicago men's soccer head coach Kevin Robson announced the signing of two student-athletes to the program's 2026 recruiting class. Nico Kehayov and Cohen Havill will join the Ramblers beginning next fall.
Kehayov, a central attacking midfielder from Northbrook, Ill., comes to Loyola from Glenbrook North High School and FC United. A product of the MLS NEXT system, Kehayov competed at the U13–U19 levels with FC United and helped his teams reach the MLS NEXT playoffs in consecutive seasons at the U16 and U17 levels. His U16 squad entered the playoffs ranked No. 3 nationally, and he scored in postseason play during his U17 campaign. Kehayov has been a consistent attacking contributor throughout his club career and was recently invited to a Bulgarian National Team tryout in North Carolina. He plans to major in marketing at Loyola.
Havill, a left back from Evansville, Ind., joins the Ramblers from Reitz Memorial High School and the Louisville City Academy. A four-year varsity letterwinner, Havill ranks fifth all-time in goals scored at Memorial with 71 career goals while adding 24 assists. He has earned numerous accolades, including United Soccer Coaches All-America honors, first-team all-state recognition in Indiana, and multiple player of the year awards at the city and conference levels. Havill has also trained with Louisville City FC's professional side and made a professional appearance against C.D. Leganés. Off the field, he has earned academic honors all four years of high school and plans to study business and accounting at Loyola.
