CHICAGO – The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) selected junior middle Aidan Klein as the league's Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career. The 6-foot-9 Illinois native helped the Ramblers to back-to-back sweeps over Queens and improve to 7-2 in conference play. 

Klein totaled nine blocks and six service aces against the Royals, matching his career-high four aces in match one and marking the third time he's met that stat this year. He also contributed seven kills in each match, hitting above .650 in both. Klein paces the MIVA with a .527 average hitting clip and ranks second in the NCAA. 

No. 7 Loyola Chicago hits the road to No. 18 Ohio State on Thursday, March 19 and Northern Kentcuky on Saturday, March 21.
