CHICAGO — For the penultimate event of their regular season, the Loyola Chicago women's golf team will participate in The Nashville Invitational in Hermitage, Tenn. on March 23-24.
The tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,186-yard General's Retreat Golf Course. Players are set to tee off with a shotgun start on Monday at 8:00 a.m. (CT) and will play the first two rounds continuously. Final round action will begin on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. (CT) with a shotgun start.
Loyola will be joined in the 16-team event by host Lipscomb, Eastern Washington, Delaware, Ball State, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Bellarmine, Tennessee State, Northern Illinois, North Alabama, Belmont, Seattle, Memphis, Longwood, Austin Peay, and fellow Atlantic 10 Conference member Dayton.
The 2025 Nashville Invitational was won as a team by the University of Iowa, who ended with a score of +29, while the tournament was won as an individual by Northern Arizona's Lizzie Neale with a score of even par.
The Ramblers' starting lineup will consist of
Cassie Psuik,
Teagan Connors,
Grace Hui,
Madison Haugen, and
Maureen O'Leary. Loyola's freshman duo of Connors and O'Leary both enter this event coming off career-best tournaments. Connors finished the Thunderbird Invitational with a career-best score of +9, while O'Leary ended the Texas State Invitational with a career-best score of +18.
