CHICAGO -- In their first race out since early September, Loyola Chicago cross country hosted the 47th annual Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational, where the men came in 10th out of 17 and the women finished 17th out of 17 teams. Senior
Jake Phillips led the pack on the men's side, coming in 18th overall with a 23:12.71 finish, and his senior counterpart
Nate Boutin claimed 19th (23:12.79).
Two Loyola women placed in the top 100 of the Championship Races. Graduate student
Allison Dougherty finished 61st (20:25.77) and senior
Eileen Seebon came in 82nd (20:42.15).
Three more Ramblers placed in the men's championship races:
Scott Fagan - #25 (23:20.38),
Cael Mulholland - #62 (23:42.08) and Izak Bible - #93 (23:58.29). On the women's side, graduate student
Allison Dougherty finished 61st, with a time of 20:25.77. Senior Rambler
Eileen Seebon finished 82nd, behind a time of 20:42.15.
In the Open Division, true freshman
Tessa Russo (21:56.33) led the Ramblers, followed by
Jo Collins in 53rd (22:06.75) and
Nicole Golebiowski (22:15.69) in 58th. On the men's side, junior
River Santiago (24:56.01) finished 17th overall, senior
Aidan Collins secured 21st (25:03.66), senior
James Howell (25:19.83) grabbed 25th and senior
Trent Anderson (25:53.88) rounded out the Ramblers in 35th.
