Biography

2016: Appeared in one game, making Loyola debut in a relief appearance at Creighton (Sept. 27).

2015: Did not see any game action.

2014: Did not see any game action.

High School: Standout performer on the club level for the Chicago Magic academy program and coach Louis Mateus...anchored the team to a pair of United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) National Championships in both 2010 and 2011...recipient of the prestigious Adidas Golden Glove award in each of those years...honor roll.

Coach Jones on Barkei: "Jim comes to us from the Chicago Magic Academy and is a goalkeeper with great upside. Jim has a great frame for a goalkeeper and we believe that once he gets in with our Goalkeeper Coach that he will quickly be able to adapt his game to the increased speed and level of Division 1. We believe that Jim will contribute to our team in a number of ways, and we are excited to see where he stacks up against our three returning goalkeepers in the preseason."
