2016: Started in each of the Ramblers' first six games before suffering a season-ending injury ... Contributed to five shutouts along the Rambler backline ... Notched shots in home wins over Valparaiso (Aug. 27) and Northern Kentucky (Sept. 2).

2015: Started in nine of the 12 games that he appeared in ... First goal of his Loyola career was a game-winner against Fordham (Sept. 4) in the team's home opener... Contributed to six shutouts as a member of the Rambler backline ... Notched five shots for the year, two of which were on goal.

2013-14 (at Iowa Western Community College): Enjoyed a highly successful two-year stint at Iowa Western Community College where he was part of a team that did not suffer a loss (48-0-2) ... Part of a side that won a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Championship during his freshman year ... Wrapped up his time in the Hawkeye State by earning NJCAA First Team All-America honors.

Coach Jones on Braem: "Matt joins us as a Junior College transfer from Iowa Western Community College. Matt has had an outstanding two-year career at IWCC. His final record there was 48 wins, zero losses and two ties. In 2013 they won the NJCAA National Championship and in 2014 Matt was a NJCAA 1st Team All-American. We are hoping Matt can bring his winning mentality to Loyola, and continue to add to our strong defensive unit from the fall."
