  • Title
    Assistant Coach

Rice joined Loyola in May 2026 Loyola after serving as an assistant coach at Grand Canyon for the 2025-26 season. During her time with the Antelopes, the program secured a win in the Mountain West Championship, defeating Utah State.

Prior to Grand Canyon, Rice spent two seasons on the staff at South Carolina under Hall of Fame head coach Dawn Staley. She served as a graduate assistant from June 2022 through May 2024, contributing to the Gamecocks’ 2023-24 national championship season and 2022-23 Final Four run. Her responsibilities included opponent scouting, coordinating logistics for the Dawn Staley Basketball Camps and serving as an assistant recruiting coordinator during the 2023-24 campaign.

A former collegiate guard, Rice played at Saint Louis and Bradley, helping lead Bradley to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2021. A native of Marion, Iowa — the same hometown as head coach Morgan Paige — she was named team captain for the 2021-22 season and earned Missouri Valley Conference Honor Roll recognition in 2021 and 2022.

Rice earned her bachelor’s degree in sports communication from Bradley and completed a master’s degree in sport and entertainment management at South Carolina.
