Loyola University Chicago Athletics

Kyle Breitbarth enters his first season as a volunteer assistant for Loyola. He arrives in Chicago after coaching at Champaign Central High School and Edison Middle School in Champaign from 2013-16.

While there, he led his teams to a 118-44 overall record, including four regional championships. two sectional championships and two state championship series appearances. He also coached at Primetime Volleyball Club during the 2016 season.

As a student-athlete, he played for the University of Illinois. His career was capped by a 2013 NCVF National Championship as well as being a part of the team that set the best regular-season record in Illinois history in 2015-16 finishing with 72-11.

A native of Frankfort, Ill., Breitbarth played at Providence Catholic High School, being named an all-Chicago Catholic League libero.
