Connor Burton is entering his first season as senior athletic trainer at Loyola. He is primarily responsible for the care of Loyola men's basketball and oversight of the sports medicine staff.Â

Burton spent the last five years as an athletic trainer at Indiana State University, working closely with the men's basketball and spirit squad programs. He played a key role in the development of department and university wide COVID-19 protocols. Burton still currently serves as affiliate faculty for the Indiana State Doctorate in Athletic Training program.Â

Burton earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Indianapolis in 2017 and Doctorate in Athletic Training from Indiana State in 2019. Burton is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana and in his free time he enjoys golfing, training for triathlons, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.Â
