Loyola University Chicago Athletics

Dimiao Jones joined Loyola Chicago’s Athletic Department in August 2025 as the Assistant Athletic Director for Business and Finance, bringing a diverse background in higher education, athletics, and entertainment.

He began his career in 2015 at Georgia State University’s Office of Disbursements, where he spent five years ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices, managing 1099 reporting, and maintaining the master vendor file. His career then took a creative turn into production accounting, where he worked with industry leaders such as Netflix, Tyler Perry Studios, Paramount Pictures, and FX—managing multimillion-dollar budgets and delivering timely, accurate financial reporting during major film and television productions.

Before coming to Loyola, Dimiao served as the Assistant Director of Business Operations for the Georgia Tech Athletic Association. There, he oversaw accounts payable, travel and expense operations, and the reconciliation of expenditure accounts, supporting the daily business functions of a Power Five athletics department.

A native of Lancaster, South Carolina, Dimiao attended the University of South Carolina Upstate, majoring in Business Administration. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and giving back through church and civic organizations.
