Monika Wojciechowicz returned to her alma mater as the head cheerleading coach at Loyola University Chicago in August 2026. As a student, Wojciechowicz spent five years on the cheerleading team while earning her bachelor's and master's degrees in social work.
For the last six years, Wojciechowicz has worked with Varsity Spirit as a UCA Instructor, traveling across the country to teach cheerleading camps, mentor athletes and create positive experiences for junior high through collegiate level programs. In addition to instructing camps, Wojciechowicz has worked cheerleading competitions in a variety of operational roles, including event logistics, administration, and competition management. She has been selected by judges across the country to serve on the Pop Warner National Judges Panel for the past two years.
Outside of coaching, Wojciechowicz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, dedicated to supporting individuals and families through challenging moments. She began her clinical career in the emergency department and currently serves as a float social worker at Northwestern Medicine, supporting patients and families through complex medical and personal challenges on various inpatient units.
Returning to Loyola is a true full-circle moment. Wojciechowicz is excited to give back to the program that shaped her own journey while helping student-athletes grow as leaders, teammates and individuals.
