Nic Powers

Nic Powers joined the Ramblers' staff in February 2026.

Powers brings experience across NCAA Division I, NAIA and elite youth soccer, most recently serving as a men's soccer performance analyst and sports scientist at Saint Louis University. In that role, he oversaw player monitoring, weekly periodization planning and opponent analysis while helping guide SLU to a national tournament appearance and a No. 6 national ranking.

Prior to his time at Saint Louis, Powers served as an assistant men's soccer coach at Lindenwood University during the 2023–24 season. He helped improve the Lions' winning percentage, reduce goals against by 16 and secure a top-40 recruiting class. Powers previously held head coaching duties at Culver-Stockton College, where he significantly improved team performance in his first season.

Powers also brings extensive success from his tenure at Columbia College, where he was part of nationally competitive men's and women's programs that combined for multiple national tournament appearances and All-American selections.

"We are extremely excited to welcome Nic and his wife, Molly, to Rogers Park," said Head Coach Kevin Robson. "Nic is a young, energetic coach who brings a strong work ethic and a winning mindset to our staff. He has gained tremendous experience in the college game as both a head coach and an assistant, helping build winning cultures at Lindenwood and Saint Louis. He is a coach players enjoy being around, and we have no doubt he will help bring elite talent to Chicago."

In addition to his collegiate experience, Powers has held leadership roles in elite youth soccer as a club director and academy head coach, driving significant growth and overseeing player advancement to collegiate and professional pathways. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in business administration from Columbia.
