Sadie Richey joined the Student Athlete Academic Services team in September of 2023. In her role, she provides support to the Women's Soccer, Men's Volleyball, Women's Track/Cross Country, and Men's Track/Cross Country teams.
Prior to her arrival at Loyola University Chicago, Richey worked in Academic Support for Athletics at North Carolina State University as an Assistant Academic Coordinator, supporting the University's wrestling, swimming and diving programs.
She received her Master of Arts in Higher Education from Elon University and worked in the Kernodle Center for Civic Life on Elon's campus from 2021-2023. Prior to her start at Elon, she completed an AmeriCorps VISTA year of service with Triangle Bikeworks, a youth cycling non-profit in Carrboro, North Carolina. A North Carolina native, Richey also worked in Academic Support for Athletics at UNC Chapel-Hill as an athletics tutor.
Richey received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Religious Studies from Clemson University. While at Clemson, she worked for Athletic Academic Services as a tutor and mentor for a number of sports, namely football.
