CHICAGO - Former Loyola guard David Bailey completed a stint with the Chicago Bulls at the Vegas Summer League last night by turning in one of his better all-around efforts in a 79-77 loss to the New York Knicks. The 5-foot-8 Bailey scored eight points, grabbed three rebounds and had six assists and only one turnover in 25 minutes of action last night.

On July 12, Bailey, a two-time All-Horizon League performer for the Ramblers, posted five points, four assists, a pair of boards and a steal in an 84-79 decision over the Denver Nuggets.

In five games at the Vegas Summer League, Bailey helped the Bulls to a 3-2 ledger, averaging 7.6 ppg, 3.6 apg, 1.8 rpg and 1.2 spg, while shooting 48 percent from the field, 50 percent from beyond the arc and 85 percent from the charity stripe. Last year, Bailey earned a roster spot with the Orlando Magic in summer league action and then went on to star for the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the Continental Basketball Association.
