In Short...
Loyola ended the Total Control Invitational with a win as the Ramblers topped Western Illinois, 2-1. Erica Nagel and Brooke Wilson led the offense with three hits apiece and accounted for both of the team's RBIs.
"Our pitching staff did a good job of limiting their opportunities while the offense did a good job of getting the big hit when we needed it," said head coach Jeff Tylka. "We still have some areas where we need to improve, but having a winning weekend is always a good thing."
