Abbie Malchow hit a three-run home run to kickstart a five-run fifth inning and lift Indiana State to a 7-2 win over Loyola in the nightcap of today's doubleheader in Terre Haute, Ind.

How It Happened
+ Indiana State scored two runs in the bottom of the first, loading the bases on a single and two walks with one out before Erika Crissman drove in two with a single of her own
+ Kiley Jones was able to limit the damage and put up zeroes in the second and third to give LU's bats a chance to get going
+ Jacquelyn Murphy led off the fourth with a double and came around to score on Brie Pasquale's double one out later
+ After a strikeout, Ashley Parenti delivered a clutch, two-out, RBI-single to score Pasquale and tie the game at 2-all
+ Jones got out of a bases loaded jam in the fourth but Indiana State delivered in the fifth
+ A hit-batsman and an error put the first two runners on base and, after an infield popup, Malchow came through with her home run to put ISU back on top
+ The Sycamores added two more unearned runs in the inning to take a 7-2 lead and Lockwood was able to close it out from there
