How it Happened
+ Iowa jumped out early, scoring seven of the first eight points of the match to take control of the opening set
+ Loyola was able to settle in and stem the tide and Reardon had a kill and a block in a four-point run that sliced LU's deficit to just three, 18-15
+ However, Iowa scored the next two points after a timeout and closed out the first set, 25-18
+ The teams went back-and-forth in the early stages of the second set before a Maddy Moser ace gave Loyola a 10-7 lead
+ Two Reardon kills later made it a 15-11 advantage before Iowa rallied, ripping off six of the next seven to claim a 17-16 lead
+ Trailing 21-19, the Ramblers regrouped and Reardon keyed a five-point spurt with a kill and two blocks as Loyola evened the match with a 25-22 win
+ The third set followed the same form as the second until Iowa used an 8-1 run to turn a 10-9 lead into an 18-10 bulge en route to a 25-17 win
+ The Hawkeyes carried that momentum over into the fourth set, taking leads of 7-1 and 18-6 before cruising to the finish line

+ Reardon led Loyola with 11 kills and four blocks for the match
+ Gabi Maciagowski added nine kills but no other Rambler had more than five
