In Short

How It Happened
Purdue darted out to a 10-3 lead in the opening set and never looked back en route to a 25-13 victory. The Boilermakers hit a sizzling .609 (16-2-23) in the set to earn the win.

After falling behind 18-8 in the second set, Loyola made an impressive comeback, as Gabi Maciagowski ignited a 5-0 run with a kill. That spurt brought the Ramblers within 18-13, but they would get no closer than five points the remainder of the set.

The Boilermakers removed all doubt in set three, sprinting out to a 10-1 lead and Loyola was unable to get any closer than eight points the rest of the way as Purdue collected a 25-11 victory.
