Ryan Walker,

Liam Woehrle.
Â
Coach Jones' Thoughts
"It was a good opportunity for us to get another game and to play some players who have either been pushing for minutes, or haven't had as many minutes this season and give them an opportunity to play against someone other than ourselves," head coach Neil Jones said. "I thought Moody Bible did a great job tonight. They came out and worked extremely hard in every single minute of the game, and defended really hard – especially in the second half. I have a lot of praise and thankfulness for them, their staff and administration for making the trip here tonight."
Â
How It Happened
The Ramblers scored four goals in the first half, beginning with
Ethan Stoneman's first tally of the season in the 8
th minute with a rip from just outside the box that skimmed the cross bar and found the back of the net. The Ramblers strung five shots on goal in a row over the course of the next six minutes, but Archers' goalkeeper Brooks Montgomery was up to the task to temporality keep it a one-goal game.
Â
An
Alec Lasinski corner kick set up the Ramblers' second goal in the 18
th minute. After an
Ethan Stoneman attempt was saved,
Ryan Walker was in position to bury the rebound and snag his first goal of the season.
Â
The Ramblers kept the pressure on, compiling three consecutive shots in minutes 19-22 off the foot of
Fabian Becerra. After another three-shot sequence from Walker,
Fabian Lifka and Becerra, Lasinski executed a beautiful cross near the goal line for Lifka to tap it in and register his second goal of the season.
Â
A little over two minutes later,
Liam Woehrle joined the stat sheet with a goal of his own. The Florida native got the dish from Becerra and ripped it from about 18 yards in front of the keeper. The Ramblers almost scored one more goal before the half expired, but it was called off due to offsides.
Â
Loyola kept the pressure on in the second half, but Moody Bible did a good job to keep the Ramblers from increasing the lead. The Ramblers added 18 more shots in the second frame to run their total to 43, and controlled the tempo for the remaining 45 minutes to earn their seventh victory of the season – as well as their third in a row.
Â
A Look At The Numbers
