CHICAGO (March 5, 2018) - Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business student Lukas Gilius was honored at the Ramblers' men's volleyball game versus Ohio State on February 24 as part of the PNC Student Achievers program. The PNC Student Achievers program, which was introduced in 2017, is designed to acknowledge deserving Loyola students who display well-rounded achievement and leadership in the classroom, in the community and in competition.
Four students are selected annually and recognized during a high-profile Loyola athletics event as part of the partnership between PNC Bank and Loyola University Chicago.
Gilius is a senior, majoring in economics, who is passionate about using technology as a tool to empower communities who lack traditional infrastructure. He has helped non-profits such as Strive Chicago, a Southside tutoring service, with a digital marketing campaign and will continue to use his skills to highlight important causes that positively impact communities.
