CHICAGO (September 10, 2018) – Loyola University Chicago will host Winona State in a men's basketball exhibition game on October 23 at Gentile Arena, head coach
Porter Moser announced today. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The game will be a reunion of sorts for Moser as Winona State is coached by his former college teammate at Creighton, Todd Eisner. With a high-powered offense that averaged 78.8 points per game, the Warriors won 19 games and finished 14-8 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in 2017-18.
Moser guided the Ramblers to a season to remember last year, winning a school-record 32 games and advancing to the NCAA Final Four for the first time since 1963. Loyola returns three starters from last year's team – guards
Clayton Custer and
Marques Townes and center
Cameron Krutwig.
