CHICAGO (September 3, 2019) – After releasing its non-conference schedule last week, the Loyola University Chicago women's basketball team learned of its 18-game Missouri Valley Conference slate today, following the release of the complete league schedule.
 
Fourth-year head coach Kate Achter team's will lift the lid on Valley play on January 3 when it welcomes reigning MVC Tournament Champion and 2019 Sweet 16 participant Missouri State to Gentile Arena.  After hosting Southern Illinois (Jan. 5), the Ramblers will venture east to Indiana for matchups with Evansville (Jan. 10) and Indiana State (Jan. 12). 
 
After returning from The Hoosier State, a pair of in-state rivals will lie in wait for the Maroon & Gold when Bradley (Jan. 17) and Illinois State (Jan. 19) make their way to Rogers Park.  A challenging three-game road trip closes out the first half of MVC play for the Ramblers, with trips to Valparaiso (Jan. 24), UNI (Jan. 31) and Drake (Feb. 2) on the docket.
 
Loyola's second swing through The Valley opens with visits from Indiana State (Feb. 6) and Evansville (Feb. 8).  The Ramblers will then pack their bags again, heading downstate to take on Illinois State (Feb. 14) and Bradley (Feb. 16). 
 
Achter's group returns to Rogers Park to close out its home slate with a three-game homestand, beginning on February 21 against Valparaiso.  Drake (Feb. 28) and UNI (March 1) make their way to the Windy City the following weekend, with the home finale against the Panthers set to serve as the program's Senior Day.  Loyola will wrap up MVC action on the road at Southern Illinois (March 5) and Missouri State (March 7).
 
Following the completion of its league slate, Loyola will head to the TaxSlayer Center in Moline, Ill. for the 2020 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, where The Valley's ten teams will battle for an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
 
Season tickets are scheduled to go on sale beginning on September 16 through RamblerTickets.com and 773-508-WOLF.  Single game tickets will be available on October 14.
