CHICAGO (April 13, 2020) – Sebastian Lara (Santa Ana, Calif./Mater Dei), a 6-foot-3 outside hitter, has been added to the Loyola University Chicago men's volleyball roster for the 2021 season, Ramblers head coach Mark Hulse announced today. 
 
Lara joins a large crop of newcomers, that now totals nine individuals, for the 2021 campaign, and he is the third California native in the Ramblers' incoming class.

Also played basketball at Mater Dei High School, which is also the alma mater of current Loyola All-American setter Garrett Zolg … In an abbreviated senior season, tallied 11 kills versus both Dana Hills and del Mar … Played club volleyball for The HBC.

Loyola posted a 7-11 overall record in a 2020 season that was cut short by the coronavirus outbreak.
