CHICAGO (September 23, 2021) – Loyola University Chicago Athletics is proud to announce the launch of the Champions Club, a brand new way to support all of its varsity teams.
Loyola Athletics is committed to providing a first-class experience to its student-athletes in their pursuit of competitive and academic excellence. Members of the Champions Club can enhance that student-athlete experience and bolster their efforts both on and off the field of play through their investment in Rambler Athletics.
"Loyola Athletics is in the midst of a period of tremendous success across all of our programs," said Rambler Director of Athletics, Steve Watson. "We have been able to maintain that high level of success on the courts and fields, in the classroom and in our community through commitment, investment, dedication and support. Sustaining high levels of success in a super-competitive environment requires tremendous resources. The Champions Club will provide us those critical financial resources that are needed to continue our upward trajectory and our mission of nationally recognized academic achievement, competitive excellence and uncompromising character."
Members of the Champions Club will sign a pledge to commit a gift of $25,000 or more paid over two years. Pledges can be directed to any one of Loyola's sports programs, split across multiple sports, or directed to the Worship, Work, and Win Fund, which benefits the entire athletics department. Individuals with an active pledge will be considered members of the Champions Club and will be entitled to all of the benefits at their level of support.
In addition to supporting student-athletes, members will receive access to exclusive benefits only available to those in the Champions Club. This includes access to the Wolves Den hospitality area during men's basketball games.
