Zach Walsh both reside in the top 30 on the individual leaderboard after the first day of action for the Loyola University Chicago men's golf team at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nev.

Through two rounds of play, the Ramblers posted a 36-hole team tally of 605 (300-305) that has them sitting in eighth place in the team standings. Chattanooga (286-294=580) owns a three-shot edge over Texas State (299-284=583) atop the team leaderboard, while the Mocs' Paul Conroy leads the individual race after carding a seven-under-par 137 (67-70).

Crawford and Walsh paced the attack for the Maroon & Gold today on the par-72, 7,402-yard course at the Boulder Creek Country Club. After opening his day with a four-over-par 76, Crawford shaved a stroke off that total during second-round play, registering an eagle on the par-five 11
th hole en route to a three-over-par 75 to bring his tally to 151 (76-75). Walsh picked up three of his five birdies on the day during second-round play en route to matching Crawford with a 151 (76-75) as both sit as part of a tie for 29
th place.

Graduate student
Devin Johnson, who is currently tied for 39
th at 152 (72-80), turned in the low round of the day by a Rambler in the morning, carding an even-par 72 that included three birdies. Fellow graduate student
Ryan Magee handed in a 153 (77-76) to move into a tie for 43
rd, while redshirt senior
Tyler Anderson is tied for 50
th with a 156 (78-78) following consecutive rounds of 78.
