WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (April 10, 2022) – For the second time in as many days, junior
Zach Walsh turned in the top overall effort for the Loyola University Chicago men's golf team as the Ramblers brought the regular season portion of their 2021-22 schedule to a close this afternoon at the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind.

Loyola posted a final-round 313 to finish action at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course (par 72; 7.546 yards) with a 54-hole total of 924 (311-300-313) to place 13
th. Â Led by individual medalist Adrien Dumont de Chassart (69-65-70=204), Illinois (284-277-281=842) pulled away from host Purdue (284-278-288=850) for the team crown.

On a day where wind gusts pushed 20 miles per hour, Walsh matched his second-round effort to lead the Maroon & Gold during final-round play. The Chesterfield, Mo. product played the front nine at one-under-par en route to a one-over-par 73 that saw him earn a share of 22
nd place at 220 (74-73-73). Fellow junior
Timmy Crawford was three strokes back of Walsh on the day, turning in a four-over-par 76 to claim 43
rd with a 226 (79-71-76).

Ryan Magee closed play as part of a three-way tie for 75
th at 241. Anderson (81-78-82) handed in a final-round 82, while Magee (77-80-84) carded an 84. Junior
Nolan Doherty shot an 82 to total a 244 (84-78-82) that saw him finish tied for 79
th.

Loyola's focus now shifts to the defense of its Missouri Valley Conference title at the 2022 MVC Men's Golf Championship, April 24-26, in Paducah, Ky.
