Atlantic 10 Unveils 2022-23 Women’s Basketball Schedule Pairings

Loyola to entertain trio of league’s top-five finishers from 2021-22 at Gentile Arena

CHICAGO (June 30, 2022) – Set to embark on its first season in the Atlantic 10 Conference, the Loyola University Chicago women's basketball team will welcome three of the league's top five finishers from last year as part of the 2022-23 pairings released on Thursday by the conference office.

Loyola will play home-and-home series with both Saint Louis and George Washington as part of a 16-game slate that will also see the Maroon & Gold host Dayton and Massachusetts, the reigning A-10 regular season and tournament champions, respectively, along with George Mason, LaSalle, Richmond, and St. Bonaventure.

In addition to return matchups against Saint Louis and George Washington, the Ramblers will visit Davidson, Duquesne, Fordham, Rhode Island, Saint Joseph's, and VCU.

The complete 2022-23 conference schedule, including national television information, will be announced at a later date.  The 2023 Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Basketball Championship will take place at Chase Fieldhouse in Wilmington, Del.

Led by first-year head coach Allison Guth, Loyola returns eight letterwinners from last season's squad that finished 18-12 overall, marking the program's top win total in over 30 years.  That core includes a trio of starters in Maya Chandler, Sam Galanopoulos, and Julia Hoefling.
