Bloomington, Ind. – Behind a massive personal best from
Grace Jostock and
Fionn Harrington etching his name into Loyola all-time top-10 performance list, the Loyola track & field team wrapped up action at the Indiana Relays Saturday afternoon.

Jostock and
Ruth Heery finished first and second in Heat 1 of the women's 3000m run with times of 9:54.72 and 10:07.44, respectively. For Jostock, the sophomore shattered her personal best time in the event by over 40 seconds.

Fionn Harrington was Loyola's top finisher in the men's 3000m run, finishing second in Heat 2 with a final time of 8:16.52. Harrington's time is a new personal best and ranks as the ninth-fastest time in program history.
Blake Buysse was right on his heels in the heat, finishing third after posting a time of 8:17.46 to just miss the Loyola top-10 all-time list.

Miguel Abaitua posted a top-10 finish in the men's 800m run with a final time of 1:51.55 to win Heat 4 and finish eighth overall.
Cameron Arkesteyn finished first in Heat 1 of the event, crossing the line in 1:54.38.

Kelly Andrews and
Roisin Treacy were in action in Saturday's women's mile competition, finishing less than a second apart in 5:07.32 and 5:08.13, respectively, to post fourth and fifth-place finishes in Heat 1. In the men's mile Saturday,
Chris Devaney set a new personal record by 12 seconds to finish sixth overall with a time of 4:08.11 to etch his name into 10th place on the Loyola all-time performance list.
Gabe Smit recorded a time of 4:09.79 to win Heat 1 while
Kenny Wallace finished sixth in Heat 2 with a time of 4:11.39.

Jayla Johnson, after qualifying on Friday for Saturday's finals in the women's 60m hurdles, finished fifth overall with a time of 8.99.

Erin Connors, competing in the women's 400m run, finished fourth in her heat with a time of 58.61 to set a new personal best in the event.

The Ramblers are back in action Friday 10
th and 11
th in split squad action. Loyola will be in competition at the Windy City Invitational at Gately Center and the GVSU Big Meet.
